The Wethersfield, Connecticut Company 1775. Fully uniformed about 110 strong they marched to Boston to join the army. Upon arrival they discovered they were pretty much the only ones with uniforms , so to avoid standing out during any fighting the donned linen smocks and trousers over their regimentals.
