MÓDULO II

 I've been a little quiet lately but that doesn't mean I haven't been working! Just completed with Jerry Coates and Mike McAfee a new book on Civil War Uniforms (sort of a 2nd volume to "Regiments and Uniforms of the Civil War"). This will be my final Civil War book as I pivot to concentrate on the 1754-1815 era. Should be out in the Spring. Finishing up a Mexican war commission then everything after that most likely will be the earlier periods. I have finished a large Revolutionary painting and beginning another and will post them after the holidays. Here is a figure from the new book of the 1st Cherokee Mounted Rifles (Native Americans fighting with the Confederacy) in 1862-63 . They received some Confederate uniforms , most the arms are what they brought from home which included a large number of shotguns. A good number of Cherokees were of mixed race at this time.
