MÓDULO VIII

American Revolution, Trooper, Nelson's Virginia Corps of State Cavalry, 1780-1781

The figures are all blocked in and the background worked on some more. Time for the detailing and closer work to begin. I like to get the entire picture blocked in rather then complete some parts totally while leaving other areas blank. (To see more about what this subject is scroll down to the previous post.

MÓDULO VII

This is a grenadier of the Hessian Rall Regiment as he would have appeared in 1776 . This was one of the three Hessian regiments defeated at the battle of Trenton. Being actually a garrison grenadier regiment did they not wear mustaches (except for possibly their grenadier company) as did other German grenadiers.
